Gift ideas for him with Groupon

I don't know about you but I find buying for men dead hard, mainly Luke. He always spoils me at Christmas with the best gifts and I always start panicking around August and trying to think of ways of treating him as much - This year I've turned to Groupon for gifts for a few members of my family as well as used it as a great tool for sussing out a gift for him. With this in mind, I've had a nosey through their site and found some great gift ideas for those of you still shopping for a man in your life.

Cute cat and laptop

Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey for Men Eau de Toilette 40ml, 75ml or 125ml - £22.99

In my experience people often mistake Groupon for just selling just experiences and trips but they also have a range of products from fragrances to coats to kitchen utensils. Luke is a big fan of Issey Miyake fragrances and I like to think that it's because we have the same name but he says it's because it smells nice, which it does and this is a bargain not to be missed.

Chateaubriand Steak with a Side of Choice and All-You-Can-Eat Fries at Rowley's - £42.00

With London being just down the road it's ridiculous that Luke and I haven't had a big city date yet - with Freddie arriving in the new year I think we'll definitely need to make some time for one another so a slap up steak dinner in a fancy restaurant is a perfect treat and for only £42 for two, you can't really go wrong, unless of course he wants to take a mate instead.

Escape Room Game for Two, Four or Six at Adventox - £59 (for 6)

It's also Luke's birthday in January (which is really inconvenient as it means more present buying worries) he always tries to sort something with the lads, lads, lads but they're often too skint to have a lad's night out or, they're taking part in dry-January and don't want to drink. This year I might treat him to an Escape Room experience for him and the boys - it's something that they wouldn't need to fork out for or drink at (I bet they'd still pop into town for "one or two" drinks afterwards though).

Spa Day with Two-Course Lunch for One or Two at Wyboston Lakes Y Spa - £85 (for 2)

This is arguably a gift for me too, I mean I'd be a little offended if he didn't take me. I've treated Luke to a spa day before and he loved it; I don't think it's something that he would think to get for himself as they often seen as super expensive but Groupon always have some amazing spa offers across the country. Wyboston Lakes is quite literally down the road from us so it's the perfect location for a quick get away.

Family Photoshoot with Six Prints and a Canvas at Zen Shots - £12

Ok so this is another gift that's more for us - but with a baby on the way we have to make certain sacrifices, right? What is a more thoughtful gift than having a family photoshoot and creating some beautiful images to have in our home? This is a bargain at £12 and the booking options are really flexible.

  3. I’ve bought more experiences this yet rather than ‘things’ - much better if you’re not sure what to buy!
