The ABH Soft Glam Palette

At around ten days overdue I went a little mental and decided to treat myself to ALL the beauty products online unfortunately for my bank balance, this happened as the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette dropped and I swear to god you've never seen my order something so fast. Surprisingly Soft Glam is the first ABH palette that I've invested in and I am so glad that I did, I think this is my favourite go-to palette and the day I his pan on any of these days will be a sad, sad day indeed.

ABH palettes are on the higher end of the make-up price spectrum with this beauty costing £43.00, I bought mine at Cult Beauty because they were the first to send me an email saying 'OMG BUY DIS NOW'. For some people £43 might seem an outrageous amount of money to pay for some powder to shove on your eyez and others may scoff at it and be able to buy the whole ABH makeup collection - I think £43 is proper expensive, but still irresistible and I think Soft Glam is worth every penny.

"Almost certain to become the most-coveted palette of the season, Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette features 14 highly pigmented, long-lasting powders in a spectrum of foolproof neutrals, hypnotic iridescents and glamorous metallics. There are pastel pink, warm brown and peachy shades, making this the perfect palette for both day and night-time looks – and it’s more than a little bit ‘bridal’ (do we hear wedding bells!?) With seven brand new shades and seven familiar favourites, this cleverly curated collection that will give your lid looks a new lease of – oh-so enviable – life. There’s ultra-matte velvety beige ‘Tempera’, iridescent gold with a hint of pink ‘Glistening’, ultra-matte pastel peach ‘Orange Soda’, rose gold with soft pink iridescence ‘Rose Pink’, satin metallic warm chocolate brown ‘Sultry’, metallic golden bronze ‘Bronze’, ultra-matte mulberry ‘Mulberry’, ultra-matte dusty lilac ‘Dusty Rose’, multi-dimensional light gold ‘Fairy’, ultra-matte deep orange ‘Burnt Orange’, ultra-matte earthy brown ‘Sienna’, ultra-matte deep cinnamon brown ‘Rustic’, ultra-matte dark coffee ‘Cyprus Umber’ and, last but not least, ultra-matte deep carbon black ‘Noir’. "  Cult Beauty

I think I can honestly say that I've not used a palette that is such a dream to work with - each shade is incredibly smooth to blend with no chalky residue or fall out. The pigmentation is intense and I find the shade range perfect for the coming warmer months as well as for when we transition into autumn. The shades that I have been getting the most use of are Tempera and Dusty Rose to create a subtly pink look that takes seconds to apply. I also love the pigmentation of the metallic shades, Bronze and Sultry are the perfectly pigmented and don't leave a sparkly residue all over the place like some  metallic shades can.

To test out the longevity of the formula, I slept in my make up (I fell asleep in my make up)
