Amelia Moss Natural Skincare*

Amelia Moss is a skincare company providing 100% natural oils, cleansers, toners and face masks at more than reasonable prices. Before we get on to the effectiveness of the products can we take a second to praise Amelia for the packaging because my heart skipped a beat when I opened this package. Not only is Amelia bang on trend by using the copper wrapping but the personalised boxes of products add a touch of luxury that really sets this company apart from others. I was gifted a bottle of pure rose water, Jojoba Oil and Argan Oil and couldn't wait to start testing out some natural skincare remedies.

Rose Water | £8.00

I could smell the Rose Water as soon as I took it out of the box, I've previously used rose water as a fragrance and was intrigued to find that it has some amazing benefits when used as a toner and cleanser. Rose water contains anti-inflammatory properties that also promote growth and healing as well as maintaining a healthy PH balance - something that my overly sensitive skin needs. I applied a few drops of rose water to cotton pad and applied it on my skin as I would any other toner or cleanser before moisturising as the water is said to be best used before the application of moisturiser as it clears and tightens blocked pores. after a week of daily use, I noticed a large difference in the size of the pores on my cheeks and the sides of my nose. The rose water also immediately soothed my skin and made it somehow feel cleaner than any other cleansers that I have used before. Not to mention that amazing scent that instantly relaxes me. The rose water followed by the use of the Jojoba oil created the perfect night time skin routine that not only helped my skin repair and cleanse but also helped me relax and sleep.

Jojoba Oil | £10.00

Jojoba Oil is actually a liquid plant wax and is a perfect natural moisturiser. I was a little wary of using an oil as an all over face moisturiser as my skin can be incredibly oily in some places and the last thing I wanted to do was add to this. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how the oil moisturised my skin without leaving some areas too dry or, others too oily - Jojoba oil mimics the skin's own natural oils meaning that it naturally caters to your skins needs. I was surprised at how little if any residue was left after application, the oil absorbed quickly and left my face feeling gently moisturised rather than greasy. I'm having a bit of a tough time with acne around my chin lately, I know that this is due to stress and hormones therefore there's not much that I can do other than ride it out and try and take care of my skin. Jojoba Oil contains natural iodine that fights bacteria which helps cleanse my skin and sooth the sensitive areas that need special attention. On days where I feel as though my skin needs some extra TLC, y'know, the ones where you feel grubby and just want to scrub - I add a few drops if Jojoba oil directly to my face and massage in for a few minutes before rinsing with water. Using it as a facial wash once a week has reduced the acne around my skin and also made me feel better psychologically - there's something so soothing about using 100% natural products on my skin.

Argan Oil | £12.00

I've mentioned my love for Argan Oil before on the blog and stand by everything that I have previously said. Whilst I'm not using Argan Oil in my face at the moment I am pretty much using it everywhere else; including my hair, skin, nails and feet as well adding a few drops to a hot bath to add some extra moisture.

If you're looking for some high quality, stunning and affordable natural beauty products that come in the most beautiful packaging, head over to Amelia Moss.
